Mark 1, Mod 1

I've put in just under 500 miles on the Trek and, while it's a very nice bike, it just didn't feel "right". A little rearraingement of the set up was in order. Off came the Midges, on went a set of Albatross bars and a really cool set of Schwalbe Delta Cruiser tires in creme. Now it feels "right" - and looks stylie too. The A-bars are a perfect fit for this bike, perfect for a weekend ride to the coffee shop with my bride.

Comments:
The bike really looks great. It's funny how little things can make a bike ride just "right"--or not.

Wow, that's neat! I'm embarking on a similar project: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/v/morgan/morganbikes/1915_mead_ranger/ Thinking about using those tires in a 28 x 1.5 size. What kind / size rims are those, and what size tires? Thanks! Morgan

The tires are Schwalbe Delta Cruisers, 700X35 http://schwalbetires.com/node/1894). The rims are basic Mavic Open Sport.

If you want the Schwalbe in the Creme color you'll need to order diredtly through Schwalbe - when I got mine they were special order. Schwalbe is great to work with and it only took a couple of weeks.
